The position works to realize the undergraduate enrollment goals of the University by providing leadership over the recruitment and yield activities of the undergraduate admissions team. The Director assists the Dean of Enrollment of Management (DEM) with market research, development of marketing and outreach strategies, enrollment activities, and administrative policies and procedures. This position is directly responsible for the implementation, monitoring, and assessment of undergraduate recruitment and admissions.
Works with the DEM to design, develop and direct the undergraduate recruitment strategies for the University.
Monitors and assesses quality of recruitment and yield activities of undergraduate admissions operations. Works to deliver maximum conversion rates within prospect, applicant, and accept pools.
Supervises a staff of five Admissions professionals, and assigns counselor projects, assignments, and areas of responsibility. Projects include database management, campus visit experiences, educator relations, and special projects.
Serves as liaison to the School Deans, and Program Directors, on all undergraduate matters.
Monitors recruitment budget for undergraduate admissions.
Cultivates an environment of teamwork, commitment, and ownership among staff.
Assists DEM in the development and assessment of specialized recruitment initiatives for transfer, international, and non-traditional audiences.
Serves as contact to campus offices and departments in support of Admissions initiatives.
Serves as liaison for secondary schools, organizations, and agencies, developing and maintaining long-term relationships.
Assists the DEM with special projects, research, and initiatives as needed.
Maintains reports and provides outcomes analysis of recruitment and relationship-building activities.
Oversee transfer credit evaluation process.
Participates in on and off-campus recruitment activities and events throughout the year, including some weekends and evenings.
Assesses, enhances, and provides staff training, development, and mentorship.
Assists with all aspects of the Admissions operations.

Five years of progressive professional admissions experience.
Bachelor’s degree in relevant field, Master’s degree preferred.
Ability to conduct thorough and meaningful research and data analysis, informing actionable goals.

Understanding of technology, and how it informs and supports best business practices.
