The sunapsis Study Abroad Module (SAM) is an IU developed application for administering Overseas Studies used system-wide.
Manages the ongoing quality assurance of the sunapsis Study Abroad Module (SAM) and serves as an expert contact for users of the system. Responsible for coordinating and participating in the testing of all sunapsis SAM releases & updates and for creating end-user training materials related to these efforts. Responsible for ensuring that all support requests receive professional, timely and accurate responses; maintaining regular office hours to assist users with these issues; maintaining and creating written documentation, coding solutions for low complexity bug fixes and feature enhancements in the system; and providing full scoping of and managing the process for resolution of advanced bug fixes and feature enhancements.
REQUIRED: Bachelor's degree in computer science, informatics, information science, human computer interaction, or other related discipline and three years of experience providing technical support or developing software.
Combinations of related education and experience may be considered.
One year of experience with software customer support or technical support. Experience developing in Java and Coldfusion. Experience participating in in the quality control process for software development. Background in the field of study abroad for higher education.
