The Department of Biomedical Engineering at the University of Massachusetts Lowell seeks a full-time Visiting Lecturer with expertise in Biomedical Engineering. The successful candidate will be expected to begin work in September 2019 and assist in teaching a range of BME courses that may include: Applications Programming (MatLab), Medical Device Design, Bioinstrumentation and Lab, Quantitative Physiology and Lab, Biomechanics, Thermodynamics, Transport Phenomena, Biomaterials, as well as other courses as required. In addition to delivering high-quality courses, the position includes service contributions to the Department and the University.
Minimum Qualifications (Required):
Applicants must have earned Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering or closely-related discipline to be considered
College-level teaching experience
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to speak and write English clearly
Ability to work effectively with students, faculty, and diverse populations
