The Department of Family Medicine and Division of Geriatric Medicine and Gerontology at the University of California, Irvine anticipates openings in the Specialist Series (open ranks).
Duties: Specialists are expected to use their professional expertise to make scientific and scholarly contributions to the research enterprise of the University and to achieve recognition in the professional and scientific community.
Requirements: Applications are being sought from recent B.A./B.S., M.D., Ph.D., or M.D./Ph.D. graduates. Interdisciplinary skills and approaches are required.
Positions are dependent upon extramural funding and need. Initial appointments are for one year and renewal is based on availability of support. Compensation will be determined based on qualifications and experience.
