Our orthopaedic team at Cedars-Sinai are experts in the full range of orthopaedic procedures. These physicians must meet strict criteria regarding experience and training, and all surgeons are board certified in orthopaedics or neurosurgery. Functioning under the general supervision of the Service Line Manager and a licensed caregiver, the Clinical Care Associate (CCA) provides clinical and administrative support to nurses, physicians and allied health providers (Clinicians) working in the hospital licensed clinics.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
You will conduct patient interview, data collection, documentation in the medical record.
You will set-up exam room, cleaning and preparing for patients.
You will be ordering/stocking of medical supplies,
You will provide general administrative support, and other duties as assigned.
Good written and interpersonal skills for interacting with patients, payers, physicians and other CSHS customers.
Minimum computer competency comprised of a working knowledge of Windows or a comparable system, basic word processing, E-mail browsers and on-line internet access.
Knowledge and understanding of the organization, functions, policies and procedures of the outpatient physician clinic, and the relationship within the larger Cedars-Sinai Health System, and apply the knowledge to the work of the office.
Experience the ability to handle multiple tasks frequently with short time-lines, to prioritize and organize work, and to complete assignments in a timely, accurate manner.
Demonstrated ability to work well as a team player and independently.
English language proficiency.
Demonstrates an understanding of technical knowledge in the effective use of computer support programs, electronic medical records and other aids for productivity
You may also perform non-invasive routine technical services under the supervision of a license physician, surgeon or podiatrist who is on the premises. You will function within his/her scope of education/certification not to exceed what is permitted by Cedars-Sinai Medical Center policies, procedures and guidelines.
