Reporting to the Space and Access Control Manager, the Key and Access Control/Space Specialist is responsible for maintaining the University process for key management and key inventory database while assisting the Manager with the tracking of space. Responsible for the daily issuance and timely collection of keys to employees and contractors. Work in conjunction with the Space and Access Control Manager to develop key plans for new and renovated space. Appropriately issue keys to new employees and ensure the collection of keys from employees who transition from the University. Assisting with scheduling and carrying out key audits for all University departments. Ensure the Key Database is up-to-date with any and all changes (key issuances and collections).
Demonstrated customer service experience. Ability to provide strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills while maintaining confidentiality. Ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of constituents. Experience with database input, retrieval and reporting. Experience with comprehension and application of policies and procedures. Proficiency with current Microsoft Office applications.
Experience with key control, space, and/or higher education experience.
