Bachelor's degree in Business, Student Personnel, or related field; minimum of six months experience in an office environment providing financial assistance, counseling, aid assessment, or related experience (college internship or co-op experiences included); excellent communication and customer service skills; effective organizational skills with attention to detail; proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and internet navigation and research; must be able to maintain even temperament in stressful situations and have ability to communicate on individual and group basis; must be able to lift and distribute up to 20 pounds of promotional materials used during financial aid office presentations.
Master's degree in Business, Student Personnel, or related field; minimum of one year of financial aid experience, and knowledge of personal income tax and counseling experience; knowledge of federal financial aid programs and supporting regulations.
