Position located in the Student/University Health Clinic on the Main Campus. Responsible for professional nursing care of university students, faculty and staff in a busy primary or urgent care setting. Responsible to the Executive Director and/or Center Manager for evaluating and treating health complaints following nursing protocols; ensuring the scientific application of the principles of nursing science, patient safety, teaching and education; quality improvement and assurance; utilizing nursing skills in health promotion, disease prevention and restoration of health; interpreting clinic protocols and policies; clinic assignments; scheduling and performing other assigned administrative and other related duties.

Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing; Tennessee licensure as an RN, AND
Two years of clinical nursing experience within the past 5 years, preferably in a primary or urgent care setting, AND
Demonstrated experience in health counseling and education, AND
Experience with recent electronic medical record systems
