Employee performs a variety of services to meet faculty and staff learning and organizational development needs.
Work involves the assessment and evaluation of professional development needs; the design, delivery, and management of instructional systems technology; teaching plans and materials; identifying objectives; supervision, planning, coordination and direction of multiple online and face-to-face development programs.
Duties also include performance of tasks designed to enhance the competence of individual employees pursuing non-degree seeking development.
Employee will train and support other trainers and departmental training administrators.
Minimum Experience / Education:
Graduation from a four-year college or university with at least three years of experience developing and conducting comprehensive training programs in a corporate, non-profit, or educational institution, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Education Skills and Experience:
Five years’ experience in instructional design.
Masters Degree in relevant field (e. g. OD, Education, Adult Learning, Leadership, Instructional Design, HR, Instructional Systems Technology, Org Psych, etc.).
Working knowledge of Evidence Based Management and Total Quality Management principles.
