Should possess strong customer service orientation and enough detailed knowledge of the Harvard community to represent the College effectively to secondary schools and prospective applicants.
Must work well under pressure, and possess strong time management and organizational skills to meet deadlines, independent initiative, excellent judgment, and the ability to keep information confidential.
Proficiency with operating computers and using office productivity software such as Microsoft applications a must.
Application review is conducted online, sometimes remotely; each reader is expected to have reliable Internet access.
Proficiency with the Internet, data entry, and word processing is required.
Problem solving skills, including specifically: the ability to develop and analyze options/hypotheses objectively.
Communication skills (both written and verbal), including specifically: the ability to make presentations to large groups of students, parents and alumni/ae.
A valid driver's license will be necessary as the position will need to drive on business trips.
