Augsburg University's PA Program is expanding to meet the healthcare needs of our region! We are in search of PA candidates who possess a clear commitment to diversity and inclusion, have experience in clinical education, and have a demonstrated understanding of the unique needs of physician assistant practice, particularly within medically underserved communities.
This is a 12-month, non-tenure track, 0.75 FTE faculty appointment, to begin around August 2019. This academic position includes the flexibility to do classroom teaching, student advising, grading, skills labs, and case-based learning. The position also offers an opportunity to participate in accreditation (ARC-PA) data collection, management and analysis.
The position offers the potential for clinical practice release time and a highly competitive salary (commensurate with experience) in the PA education sector.
The applicant must be a NCCPA-certified Physician Assistant with clinical experience as a PA (Minnesota or Wisconsin PA license required) and must possess, at minimum, a Master's degree. Prior experience in an academic setting is preferred.
