Time & Attendance Coordinator - Hospital Administration - (19001494)
The Foster Hospital for Small Animals is the flagship teaching hospital of the Cummings School, with approximately 31,000 patients seen per year in addition to the Hospital for Large Animals that admits approximately 1,700 patients per year. The hospitals provide advanced veterinary care for small and large animal patients throughout New England. They also serve as the primary clinical training environment for the veterinary students, interns and residents.
Under the direction of the Hospital Administrator this position has full responsibility for the weekly payroll of both the Large and Small Animal hospitals. Preparation and monitoring of monthly clinician incentive payments and on call emergency payments, PAFs, PDRFs, and other related confidential Human Resources documentation, including hiring and re-authorizing temporary and student employees, resignations, sick leave, workers' compensation and job descriptions. Time and attendance input is into an automated system.
* High school diploma or the equivalent is required. * Attention to detail and confidentiality. * Five years of payroll related experience. * Strong demonstrated skills in the use of Excel and Word for completing projects. * Strong people skills with the ability to provide great customers service to staff and students when they have payroll issues.
Associates Degree or higher preferred and three + years of related payroll experience.
