This Clinical Research Assistant II will be responsible for:
Screening, consenting, recruitment, and selection of patients for studies.
Preparing IRB and/or CCI documentation and submissions in conjunction with the Principal Investigator and/or other members of the research team.
Conducting data collection activities and prepares analytical reports regarding results of studies.
Assisting in writing articles and summary papers for various publications.
Running info visits (in-person/remote)
Sending medical clearances to PCPs and follow up
Checking lab results and follow up as needed
Sending eligibility emails
Running background checks
Monitoring and responding to email
Downloading/sorting/assigning IDs to new applicants and importing to Quick Base
Assisting in planning participant outings
Attending and overseeing participant outings (approximately 6-7 Saturdays each cohort)
Assisting in running participant support special events
Monitoring and reporting any issues that arise over the weekend
Following up with appropriate staff members as needed
Following up with participants about ongoing medical related issues that need monitoring over the weekend and update the team as needed.
Assisting with monitored exercise sessions (back-up)
Assisting with meal support (checking trays, checking participants in, supervising meal)
Assisting with SRA support/management
With guidance: Sending weekly SRA update, providing updates for the weekend, posting/sending weekly SRA schedule
In order to qualify, you must have:
A bachelor's degree in a health science or related field
A minimum of one year of relevant work experience.
