Reporting to the head women's softball coach, the assistantwomen's softball coach will help provide leadership and oversight for all aspects of a competitive program. This includes; * Strong ability to assist in providing overall leadership of the women's softball program * Proven recruiter and evaluator at Division I, II or III level * Ability to foster a strong and positive culture within the program * Maintain high level of academics * Assist with the management of coaching, team practices, competitions, road travel, scheduling, workouts, academics, and life-skills * Assist in managing the program budget and team travel * Ensure compliance with all department policies and guidelines * Comply with all applicable Boston College, ACC, and NCAA rules, guidelines, and policies * Represent themselves in a manner consistent with positive representation of Boston College * Opportunity within University guidelines to assist in the management, hosting, and executing softball camps and clinics at Boston College
Full-Time Equivalent Hiring Range: $43,250 to $54,050; salary commensurate with relevant experience.
* A Bachelor's Degree is required * Proven softball coaching experience * Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills * Ability to work effectively with college student athletes, athletic staff, University personnel and Alumni * Proficient computer skills
Preferred * Two plus years successful coaching experience preferably at a collegiate level or club level
*Expected to perform all duties and responsibilities in compliance with all NCAA, ACC and Institutional rules
