Location: WCJC Wharton and Richmond Campuses, Texas
Positions available on the WCJC Richmond and Wharton Campuses teaching day and evening classes. If teaching DFTG1405, DFTG1409, DFTG1410, DFTG1417, DFTG2406, DFTG2407, DFTG2423, DFTG2430 or DFTG2432 pay is $3,150 per semester (3 lecture/3 lab class-4.5 semester credit hours); If teaching DFTG2319 or ARCE1352 (2 lecture/4 lab class-3 semester credit hours); DFTG2338 Pay is $2100 (1 lecture/4 lab-3 semester credit hours).
The permanent responsibility of a faculty member is to provide the most effective instruction possible in his/her discipline. Supervision is received from appropriate supervisor. The faculty member works to insure that his/her instruction is meeting the educational needs of students.
This position requires an Associate's Degree in Engineering Design or closely related field and 36 months of full time work experience in the field. (Drafting work experience is required to qualify for this position.) A criminal background check is also required.
