Assist with auditing and inputting payroll transactions, as well as, assist with Human Resources and Payroll office support.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Inputs and audits assigned payroll transactions, adhering to established guidelines and deadlines
Insures proper documentation (i.e. I-9, W4’s) is obtained and verified
Prepares cost transfers and journals adjusting when necessary
Audits reports for problems, imbalances, counts, etc. to assure correct data
Assists supervisor with clerical and administrative duties
Provides backup to Sr. Payroll Associate
Assist with various projects and other duties as assigned
Equivalent of High School diploma and 2+ years of experience in bookkeeping, payroll, accounting or business.
College courses in business or accounting preferred
Excellent computer (Excel and Word) and 10-key abilities
Accuracy and attention to details critical
Flexible in a fast paced, ever changing environment
Excellent communication skills
The hiring range for this position is $17.48 - $22.29 per hour.
This position is part-time and works approximately 24 hours per week. The scheudle is typically 2-3 days per week (potentially 4 during several peak periods per year).
We are able to be somewhat flexible on days worked; however, we would anticipate that this person would work each Tuesdays and there will be 2 days per month around our monthly payroll deadline (days vary) that we would need the employee to be present.
