This is a regular, full-time position in the Survey Research Program at the University Center for Social and Urban Research. Evening and weekend hours are required. This is a grant funded position lasting 3 years.
The primary duty is to conduct face-to-face interviews with older adults, lasting 2-3 hours. Data collection requires the use of an iPad for administering Qualtrics surveys, a laptop for administering specialized software, and paper-and-pencil for administering cognitive tests.
Other duties involve miscellaneous research-related tasks.
Good oral and written communication skills and computer experience required. Two to three years experience in clinical research setting preferred. Previous interviewing/assessment experience preferred.
Department Details: The mission of UCSUR is to work collaboratively to conduct interdisciplinary research that improves communities and addresses social, economic, health, and policy issues most relevant to society. UCSUR carries out this mission by (1) providing research support infrastructure and training in the social and behavioral sciences to faculty throughout the University; (2) collecting and disseminating regional and national policy-relevant data to support faculty research and community development, and 3) conducting original research in a few focused areas, including urban impact analysis, survey methodology, and psychosocial aspects of aging.
