This position is located on the COTC campus in Newark, Ohio. Under the direction of the Applications Manager, this is an analyst/programmer position dedicated to Ellucian solutions, where the primary focus is on Business Objects development, with a secondary focus on Colleague ERP and peripheral integrations. Under general supervision, is responsible for maintaining, supporting and enhancing the Colleague Reporting and Operating Analytics (CROA) system, on the SAP Business Objects Enterprise, Web Intelligence platform. Responsible for CROA report and custom field and view development, and validating system updates and enhancements. Provides technical training and supports end users with CROA and Colleague ERP modules, reporting capabilities and interfaces with other systems. Works with administrative and academic areas and acts as the technical resource for projects. Maintains and customizes software packages specific to the Ellucian Colleague ERP and peripheral systems and supports other database activities as necessary. Assists with Colleague ERP administrative tasks and writes, reviews, and maintains system documentation as to changes and operating procedures.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. 1-3 years of qualifying experience with ERP systems, preferably with Colleague ERP. Experience with report writing tools required, preferably with SQL, Crystal Reports, and CROA. Ability to present information effectively and respond to questions from end users and managers. Ability to multitask and prioritize to perform various operational support tasks and new software implementation projects at the same time. Requires successful completion of a background check.
1-3 years of experience in the following: Ellucian Colleague Operating and Reporting Analytics (CROA) experience. Experience in query language, such as MS SQL scripting. Experience in Business Objects Enterprise reporting tools. Programming experience, with Colleague Studio and/or Visual Studio, languages include Envision, Visual Basic and .NET. Strong communication and organizational skills; ability to multitask.
Target Salary: $56,250.00 - $68,750.00 Annually
