Full-Time; Career Starting Salary Range: $51,100-$55,864/annually. Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Involves developing digital communications when communications knowledge, rather than Information Technology knowledge, is paramount. Includes website design and development, or producing communications or instruction using the web, audio, video, and other digital media, which may involve content creation, designing, production and / or programming.
Writes or edits a variety of comprehensive and difficult material for stylistic consistency, logic, organization, and emphasis. Recommends content design and layout edits to support search engine optimization. Coordinates production of a variety of web and printed material. Assists in the conversion of printed material and forms to digital material and forms. Acts as a liason, between the technology team and the sub-departments within Financial Affairs, in regards to management of their written content. Works to ensure accuracy of content that is published throughout the Financial Affairs website.
The mission of Financial Affairs is to provide high quality academic, research, and student support services to a campus that enrolls over 19,000 students, conducts over $100 million in sponsored research, and has expenditures of approximately $650 million annually. Financial Affairs is composed of the following major subunits: Campus Controller's Office, Accounting Services (Accounts Payable, Extramural Funds, Payroll), Procurement Services, Student Business Services, and Enterprise Financial Systems.
Bachelor's degree in related area and / or equivalent experience / training.
Thorough knowledge of the fundamentals of writing, grammar, syntax, style, and punctuation.
Demonstrated ability to write clear, lively, engaging and compelling copy in a variety of styles appropriate to target audiences and / or the broader public, while ensuring adherence to the location's message.
Strong technical skills using applications for web production, image handling, presentation preparation, publishing and design.
Possesses excellent interpersonal communications skills, including active listening and effective collaboration skills.
Selected candidate will be required to pass a pre-employment criminal history background check
