The Clinical Research Coordinator B will be a resource for best practices of multiple ongoing clinical studies and research trials. The Clinical Research Coordinator B will be the liaison to departmental interaction including the simulation laboratory, trauma bay, nursing units, and the research sponsor(s). The Clinical Research Coordinator B will oversee study startup for new clinical trials. This individual will review all new trials to help identify the challenges and opportunities discovered; and problem-solve the challenges to implement a plan of action. The Clinical Research Coordinator B will work with the Institutional Review Board (IRB) and Penn Acute Research Collaboration (PARC) staff to ensure submissions to the IRB are complete, accurate, and accomplished in a timely manner. The Clinical Research Coordinator B will take an active role in preparation of study audits and inspections. This individual will work with the regulatory compliance manager and develop and institute a plan for inspection. The Clinical Research Coordinator B will also participate in preparing and submitting new grant applications as assigned.
