The George Washington University Medical Faculty Associates, the independent non-profit faculty clinical practice group affiliated with the George Washington University, is seeking a neuropathologist to join the Department of Pathology. This non-tenure track faculty appointment will be made at the rank (Instructor/Assistant/Associate/Full Professor) and salary commensurate with experience.
Our growing medical center, with a modern state-of-the-art hospital and expanding Cancer Center, is located in the heart of the nation’s capital. An increasing neurosurgical volume from our active Neurosurgery and Neurology Service provides opportunities to sign out both neoplastic and non-neoplastic cases, including nerve and muscle biopsy specimens, and to conduct clinical and translational research in collaboration with neurosurgeons, neurologists, oncologists, and other clinicians and basic investigators.
MD or equivalent; Board-certified or Board-eligible in Anatomic Pathology or Anatomic and Clinical Pathology; fellowship trained in Neuropathology; Board-eligible or Board-certified in Neuropathology; and eligible for licensure in the District of Columbia at the time of appointment.
