Research Support - Laboratory/Non-Laboratory, Staff/Administrative
Essential Functions: Recruits program participants for research interventions and/or group interventions. 35%Provides HIV prevention education and testing to potential program participants. 10%Provides health education and field outreach in clinical and non-traditional settings. 10%Conducts research visits and/or group interventions including data collection and entry. 25%Maintains continuous learning through literature reviews, training requirements. 10%Support Program Director and Manager with programmatic infrastructure. 5%Performs other related duties as assigned. 5%
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in counseling, community health or related field required. A combination of experience and education may be considered. Michigan Department of Health & Human Services (MDHHS) HIV Test Counselor Certification or attainment of certification within 90 days of employment required.Experience working with protocols and procedures. Experience working on a team.Effective and professional oral and written communications skills. Ability to write clear, accurate and concise reports. Working knowledge of social media. Data entry skills with working knowledge of database management.
