The Manager of Corporate Partnerships position is primarily responsible for driving and managing all aspects of the College of Health Sciences and Professions (CHSP) program promotion, corporate collaboration, recruiting and organizational communication efforts through relationships with key hospitals/facilities and health organizations. The Manager will build and maintain relationships with 60-80 hospitals and health care agencies to support a variety of academic programs including the RN-to-BSN, MSN, MHA, MSW, MPH, Medical Informatics, and other potential online health-focused offerings. The Manager will maintain relationships with chief executive officers, chief nursing officers, medical directors, and other health care organization leaders in relation to these academic programs and other clinical relationship maintained by the College with these organizations. The manager will also serve as primary point of contact for employees of hospitals and health care organizations who are enrolled in OU academic programs and will provide retention-focused support for those employees.
Specific Responsibilities include:
*Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with assigned hospitals/facilities, health organizations, college and school departments and individuals. Visit assigned hospitals/facilities to work with hospital/facility representatives and staff (potential/actual students) to promote CHSP programs, recruit students for Ohio University and advise potential/actual students.
*Communicate regularly with executive leadership in order to coordinate corporate relationship efforts, including identifying and recruiting prospective partners. Participate in recruitment activities including—open houses, transfer fairs, student orientations, welcome-back activities, classroom presentations, faculty and advisor meetings. Assist in assuring accurate information is maintained on the hospital/facility web links for each partner.
Monitor student progress and work closely with faculty, facilitators and others within CHSP and across the University to coordinate services for degree seeking students. Refer students to academic resources. Secure new requests for program offerings suggested/requested by administrators and students at hospital/facility partners and share with CHSP. Recommend OHIO course offerings needed to assure all student needs are met.
Bachelor's degree in college student personnel, higher education administration, counseling or related field. At least 3 years of related experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience in lieu of degree will be considered.
This position requires frequent travel so a valid driver's license is required.
Experience with a degree audit system at a university of higher education is preferred.
Familiarity with Ohio University governance system, polices, and curriculum considered a plus.
