Provides instruction to students in both theory and practice of Diesel Technology. Plans and carries out instruction, instructional activities, and prepares learning materials for special studies. Prepares lesson plans, instructional activities, and maintains records and reports on student learning.
Participate in professional development activities to improve teaching skills and expertise, student advising, follow-up services to assist in student placement, and recruitment of new students for program area. Serves on college committees as required, keeps regular posted office hours, and undertakes other assignments as directed by supervisor.
Position requires teaching 15-18 credit hours each semester. May be required to teach evening hours, or at other campus locations as the need arises.
