DUTIES: The duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Scheduling of the physicians operative procedures and pre-admission testing as well as obtaining the pre-certification for the patients' surgical procedures prior to each admission. - Scheduling of various radiological tests are also required prior to the patients' admission. - Assists the physicians in the computerization of the referral letters on a daily basis. - Answering of heavy telephone calls and taking detail messages for the physicians. - Contacting of patients and verifying their scheduled appointments on a daily basis. (DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE ABOVE POSITION DESCRIPTION) QUALIFICATIONS: - A minimum of an Associate's Degree preferred. - Strong communication, administrative and computer skills is a must.
