SENIOR PROGRAM MANAGER, UNDERGRADUATE PRACTICE OPPORTUNITIES PROGRAM (UPOP) , Gordon Engineering Leadership Program (GEL) , to oversee and manage operations and administration of the UPOP program and plan, manage, execute, and expand program activities. Will manage administration, finance, IT, compliance, marketing, communications, outreach, etc.; manage staff and contract external consultants; manage and develop strategic and operational plans/systems to ensure effective operations, recommending and implementing improvements as needed; allocate financial, technical, and personnel resources; develop and manage external stakeholder relationships; assist co-directors with execution of key initiatives and on defining program scope and schedule and identifying and resolving issues; collaborate with F&A manager to plan and implement annual operational budget; develop methods for collecting feedback and ensure tracking of key program metrics; prepare program documentation and reporting; coordinate and oversee outreach activities; collaborate with GEL and Communications Lab to enhance curriculum and instructional methods/delivery; develop scalable resources for the graduate community; diversify revenue streams, including individual donors, foundations, and corporate partners; and perform other duties as needed.
REQUIRED : bachelor's degree (master's preferred) in engineering or management field; at least five years' administration, operations, and/or program management experience; excellent organizational and written communication skills; experience prioritizing and managing multiple stakeholder projects, planning and managing projects independently from start to finish, and managing organizational change; initiative; flexibility; ability to listen carefully, communicate tactfully, and work as part of a team; experience with website content development/maintenance; proficiency with MS Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; and discretion and judgment with confidential information/issues. Experience with marketing and communication strategy, programs, and events; fund-raising; and MIT systems and SAP preferred.
