Academic Nephrologist(Position number 3-309-945) - The Nephrology Division at the University of Maryland School of Medicine has an opening for our expanding clinical programs on our nephrology, dialysis and transplant services. In addition to inpatient and outpatient clinical services, the candidate will also be expected to be involved in focused basic/clinical research.

Successful candidates must be board certified/board eligible in Internal Medicine and Nephrology. Excellent clinical and teaching skills are also required as instruction of medical residents and fellows is integral to our clinical programs. Faculty rank, tenure status and salary will be commensurate with experience, although we anticipate the position will be as Assistant Professor or higher on the non-tenure track. In addition, because this appointment will be funded (in part) by the VA Medical Center, all candidates must be US citizens.
