Under the supervision of the Director, the Senior Network Manager (Managing Assistant Director II) manages daily administration and oversight of the Kean University administrative/academic data communication networks including, but not limited to: architecture and operations, infrastructure design and development, support and services, network capacity planning and security systems. The Senior Network Manager also participates in the development and implementation of policies and procedures; and does related work as required.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college and two years of professional experience in network administration is required. Bachelor's degree in computer science or electrical engineering is preferred. Experience may be substituted for the degree on a year for year basis. Candidate must have knowledge of Avaya, Juniper, McAfee and Watchguard equipment.
