The Philosophy Department is hiring part time instructors for the Fall 2019 and Spring 2020 semesters to teach sections of undergraduate philosophy courses including, but not limited to, PHIL 1001 (Foundations in Philosophy): PHIL 2310 (Theory of Ethics); select undergraduate electives and/or University Core Courses.
Duties and Responsibilities:
The successful candidate(s) will have full responsibility for the courses and sections they are teaching, including course and syllabus preparation; grading exams and papers. Must maintain a minimum of three office hours per week.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Masters degree preferred.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
M.A. in Philosophy or equivalent graduate study in Philosophy; must be able to provide evidence of teaching competence and/or effective professional training.
