Assistant/ Associate Professor, Rutgers University – Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, Center for Dermatology within the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine ,Somerset/New Brunswick, New Jersey The Center for Dermatology in the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine has opening for an academic dermatologist appointment at the Assistant or Associate Professor non tenure level with excellent clinical skills, a passion for teaching and research. The ideal candidate should have an interest in and possess experience in general dermatology, including complex medical dermatology and subspecialties. RWJMS Center for Dermatology is located in a recently renovated medical facility dedicated to cutaneous medicine, laser and cosmetic dermatology, Mohs surgery, phototherapy, clinical and translational research and dermatologic teaching.
Minimum Education and Experience:
Applicants must possess a M.D. degree. Board-certified Dermatologists.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
The successful candidate is expected to have excellent clinical skills, possess experience in general dermatology, including complex medical dermatology and subspecialties. For the board-certified dermatologists, clinical practice will be arranged in the affiliated Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital or other RWJBarnabas Health hospitals. Compensation is commensurate with experience. The package includes an excellent and highly competitive base salary plus a generous benefits package. Research space and start up resources are available for candidates who are interested in investigative dermatology research. .
