Applicants are invitedfor an NIH-funded postdoctoral fellow position (PhD or equivalent required) tostudy novel therapies for Alzheimer's and Parkinson's diseases in mice. The candidate must have molecular biology experience, including developing andtrouble-shooting assays for PCR, Western blot, ELISA, colorimetry, etc. Knowledge of thin-layer chromatography is a plus. Additional techniquesthat may be helpful but not required are stereotactic surgery,immunohistochemistry, light/confocal microscopy, assessment of cognition, andunbiased stereology. Must be a self-motivated team player,well-organized, and with strong communication skills (writing andspeaking).
