The CFA Dean's Office is seeking applicants for the position of Senior Academic & Business Associate. This is an exciting opportunity if you are passionate about the arts and thrive handling a diverse array of responsibilities including financial and business transactions, providing administrative & coordinating support, and interacting with and supporting students.
Your core responsibilities will include:
Overseeing CFA Interdisciplinary course offerings;
Managing CFA Student-Defined Majors and specific interdisciplinary minors;
Providing support to two Senior Associate Deans and the Associate Dean for Finance & Operations;
Processing expense reports, procurement card transactions, purchase orders and honoraria;
Monitoring of monthly expenses;
Organizing various mailings and special events;
Initiating J-1 visa process for visiting scholars;
Serving as Workday Timekeeper and Academic Initiator;
Directing telephone and in-person inquiries;
Serving as facilities coordinator for Dean's Office including the public spaces in the CFA building.

Proficiency in the use of computers and quick adaptation to new technology and applications;

Associates degree or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of administrative support or related experience required; experience in higher education preferred.
Experience with Oracle applications for expense reporting, procurement cards and purchasing preferred, and expertise in CMU's S3 student services suite desired.
