Central Washington University is the regional leader in professional aviation education. CW-Department of Aviation is seeking a tenure-track assistant/associate professor in Aviation Management beginning in fall 2019. The faculty member is responsible for providing quality instruction to a diverse student population enrolled in aviation management undergraduate program of study.
Master’s degree in Aviation Management or other related field
Ability to teach courses related to aviation management such as aviation management, airport management and operations, airport planning and design, aviation safety & security, aviation law, aviation labor relations, and legal ethics in aviation
Five years of working experience in the aviation industry
Experience and demonstrated commitment to diversity
Strong writing skills
Doctoral degree in Aviation Management or related field. Candidate with an ABD status will be considered
Experience teaching at the university/college level
Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) such as Canvas or Blackboard
Experience in teaching online courses
