The Criminal Justice Department at Mars Hill University is seeking an adjunct instructor who can assist the Department with meeting its need for quality instruction. We are looking for course coverage in the areas of: courts and criminal justice, homeland security, terrorism, and comparative criminal justice. In addition, there could be opportunities for teaching introduction to criminal justice or additional criminal justice electives. To be considered for employment, a master’s degree in criminal justice (or a closely-related field with evidence of a concentration in criminal justice) or the juris doctorate is required. Teaching experience is a must, and applicants much provide results of teaching evaluations and/or peer review of teaching by one’s peers or direct supervisor. Preference will be given to applicants with experience with online teaching.
