Position Accountabilities and Essential Functions:
This position is to teach PTA 225 (Topics in Manual Therapy) in the Physical Therapist Assistant program at Delta College beginning Winter 2020. The course will be offered during daytime hours on two consecutive Saturdays in January. The instructor will be responsible for teaching the theory and hands-on lab skills related to this content. The primary focus of the course is to familiarize the students with common manual therapy approaches and techniques. This course also includes kinesiology taping principles and techniques. Please refer to the course outcomes and objectives on the Delta College website for a more detailed description of the required content.
Bachelor’s degree or higher
Licensed physical therapist in Michigan
Minimum 3 years of clinical experience
Experience with manual therapy and kinesiology taping
