Facilities Worker - Electrical (Limited) University of California, Los Angeles
Requisition Number: 30076 Salary: $24.91 hourly
Position Description: Perform routine and unskilled maintenance, alterations and repair of electrical equipment in campus buildings and related facilities using appropriate tools and equipment. Assist Journey Electrician or Facilities Mechanic with tasks related to maintenance, replacement, or installation of electrical systems and equipment. Identify malfunctions or problems and report to Journey Electrician, Lead Electrician, or Superintendent. Perform simple routine and/or unskilled repairs or replacement of electrical fixtures or equipment. Replace fluorescent tubes, ballasts and lenses. Perform other related duties like operating and maintaining a variety of power or hand tools; transporting materials and personnel to and from job site; cleaning up job site and returning equipment and follow all safety procedures.
