Research Support - Laboratory/Non-Laboratory, Staff/Administrative
Indiana University School of Medicine, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology has a Research Technician position available. The selected candidate will be responsible for conducting a wide range of experiments with a degree of independence. Assist the Principal Investigator in conducting research by coordinating laboratory activities and monitoring the progression of research projects.
1. Day-to-day lab management and cell culture 2. Perform routine cell and molecular biology experiments 3. Perform experiments that are necessary to generate specific data for manuscripts and grants
REQUIRED: Bachelor's degree.
Self-motivated, highly driven, and eager to work in a team environment. Understanding of techniques and protocols. Interest in learning new techniques. Research and computational skills.
Some experience with the application and adaptation of numerous research techniques and procedures. Bachelor's Degree in Science in biotechnology, biology or biochemistry.
