Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking an Associate Director of Shared Services Strategy, Performance and Planning within the leadership team of the OneSource Faculty and Staff Resource Center (OneSource FSRC). The Associate Director of Shared Services Strategy, Performance and Planning will work closely with other OneSource FSRC leaders to set, monitor and review OneSource FSRCs strategic direction and integrated planning process. In addition, this position will be responsible for providing overall leadership and direction for strategic projects, portfolio expansion, and reporting and analytics to support the growth and development of the OneSource FSRC. The position serves as a direct supervisor to a team of shared services analysts, business process reengineering and project management specialists.
Among the key duties of this position are the following:
Develops the strategic direction of the OneSource FSRC to ensure its organizational development, sustainability and growth in collaboration with other OneSource FSRC leaders; ensures translation of strategy into tangible objectives, targets and actions.
Identifies opportunities for the OneSource FSRC to increase impact, revenue and funding to support strategies.
Engages senior leadership across the University, both central Divisions and Faculties, to align to the OneSource FSRC's strategy and integrated planning.
Develops, manages and champions the business case for the OneSource FSRC.
Represents the OneSource FSRC in external forums as required.
Leads all portfolio and customer expansion initiatives.
Develops and coordinates an annual strategy and integrated planning process, ensuring strategic alignment across all areas of the OneSource FSRC.
Develops reliable performance data, insightful analysis and reports to drive strategy and planning processes; monitors and routinely establishes KPIs to assess performance.
Negotiates, establishes, and executes service level agreements with key stakeholders.
Establishes call center performance metrics against service standards and associated KPIs for service quality, accuracy, timeliness, consistency, customer satisfaction, and resource management.
Identifies process improvement opportunities across end-to-end OneSource FSRC processes, and leads process and technology driven business process reengineering initiatives.
Develops and maintains positive, strategic and productive working relationships through consultation and networking with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders to achieve organizational objectives.
Monitors and evaluates the progress of key strategic initiatives against the OneSource FSRCs objectives.
Supervises and monitors performance of OneSource FSRC employees against pre-determined measures and standards; provides effective and timely feedback to enhance employee performance.
Creates, fosters and maintains a collaborative, innovative and customer-focused team culture.
Leads employee engagement and development initiatives for OneSource FSRC employees to enhance job satisfaction and morale.
Supports and informs recruiting, training, and employee development activities to be aligned with OneSource FSRC strategic goals.
Minimum Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
Requires minimum five years experience in a strategic planning or performance management role.

Master's degree in a related field from an accredited college or university.
PHR, SHRM-CP. SHRM-SCP, SPHR, CPP, or an equivalent professional qualification.
