Competitive candidates will demonstrate appropriate post-doctoral teaching and professional practice experience, excellence in teaching and specialized knowledge in key areas of psychology and practice, and shows capacity to contribute to the mission and goals of GSAPP and the professional community The Master of Applied Psychology (MAP) and Clinical Psychology (PsyD) Programs in the Graduate School of Applied and Professional Psychology, Rutgers University are seeking an individual to fill the position of Assistant Teaching Professor (non-tenure track) in the Departments of Applied and Clinical psychology with major responsibilities for the oversight of clinical and applied psychology practicum placements. The Clinical Psychology Psy.D. Program is APA accredited and the Master of Applied Psychology will be seeking accreditation as they graduate their first class in 2020.
Minimum Education and Experience:
A doctoral degree in psychology;
A license to practice psychology in New Jersey;
Experience in graduate level teaching and the practice of professional psychology
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Strong commitment to and experience in professional training in applied and professional psychology.
