The Rockefeller University seeks a Research Assistant to join Laboratory of Molecular Genetics and Immunology. The Research Assistant will be using molecular genetics techniques used in immunological studies focused on cancer and infectious disease treatments. The Research Assistant will be involved with cell culture based antibody production, recombinant DNA manipulation, immuno-based assays, in vivo studies in mouse models, as well as maintenance of mouse models. Will assist laboratory members with experiments and laboratory upkeep.
Bachelor's degree in science required; emphasis in biology preferred. Must have basic laboratory training and be willing to work with mice. Must be well organized and have excellent oral and written communication skills.
