The Honors Advisor performs advisory, programmatic, coordination and analytical functions for the Campuswide Honors Program's (CHP) students and prospective students, under the general supervision of the Associate Director and the direction of the Senior Honors Advisor. These functions include academic-advising-related duties, student life programming coordination, and advising and mentoring of the honors student council. As a member of the CHP advising staff team, provide academic advising to CHP students; provide planning and oversight of community development and leadership development for CHP students. Also assist with the following: co-curricular events and activities; the recruitment of new honors students; summer and fall orientation; advising workshops; communication with students, parents, and alumni.The University of California, Irvine is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer advancing inclusive excellence.
