Under direct supervision, performs general cooking duties using standardized recipes and instructions as needed for a food service market place. Performs other related preparation and sanitation duties as required.
Participates in the preparation of foods to include: cutting, slicing, grating or peeling vegetables and fruits; and chopping, grinding, or slicing meats. May perform simple cooking tasks in accordance with specific instructions.
Assembles, labels, stores, and issues foods as ordered or required to service areas at prescribed times.
Performs sanitation duties by maintaining and cleaning, serving, dining and kitchen areas during and after service and/or food preparation.
Assists with inventory and ordering of food and supplies.

Minimum Eligibility Requirements:
Ability to read, write and follow instructions.
One year of work experience in the retail or hospitality industry
Some experience in a food service operation
Customer service experience
Experience working in a diverse work environment
Interest in and the ability to learn basic computer and keyboarding skills; including the ability to access and draft email correspondence, and the ability to manage electronic time accruals and personal absence requests. Previous experience is highly desired.
