Working under the direction of Harvard Law School faculty members and Faculty Support Services, provides a wide range of highly skilled administrative and project support. Assistant is a liaison between faculty members and students, external contacts, and various Law School administrative departments. Proficiently executes a range of advanced technical applications in support of administrative, teaching and research activities, anticipates daily needs of faculty members and updates supervisors on status of tasks and projects. Performs general office duties including photocopying, filing, ordering office supplies, placing catering orders, and reserving space for meetings and events, processes financial payments and reimbursements using Concur and Oracle platforms for Purchasing Card and/or Corporate Card, responds to internal and external requests for information, processes recommendation letters. Proofreads and edits documents, maintains accurate and organized paper and electronic files, maintains class web sites using Canvas platform, posts course materials and announcements. Facilitates updates to faculty webpages, manages aspects of research assistant hiring and supervision, makes domestic and international travel arrangements, manages complex calendars, conducts ad hoc internet and library research, processes and manages confidential material with tact and discretion.

3 or more years of administrative support or related experience in a business or customer service environment. Education beyond high school may count toward some, though not all, experience.
Demonstrated administrative support experience, superior organizational skills and attention to detail? strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to forge strong collaborative working relationships, discretion with confidential information, ability to effectively handle quickly changing priorities and adjust work flow accordingly. Candidate must have strong computer skills, including proficiency with Word, Adobe Acrobat Pro, Excel, Power Point. Ability to learn new software programs as needed. Proficiency with internet applications, such as YouTube, Google Drive, etc. Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.
