The Department of Epidemiology at the Mailman School of Public Health seeks a bilingual Indonesian-English speaking Short Term Casual for a research study examining tobacco smoking in Indonesia. Under direct supervision of the Principal Investigator, the incumbent will be responsible for conducting a review of Indonesian and English language peer-reviewed studies and other documents, communicating with relevant personnel in Indonesia, and contributing to other study activities. The incumbent will also assist in manuscript preparation and presentation of materials for conferences and lectures.
Review of Indonesian and English language documents, 75%
Prepare reports of review findings, 20%
Perform other related duties as assigned, 5%
Requires enrollment in a Master's degree.
Must be fluent in Indonesian and English languages. Must have familiarity with scientific methods. Must be detail-oriented, with excellent organizational, interpersonal, written and oral communication skills, and the ability to maintain the highest degree of confidentiality and diplomacy at all times.
