The Alumnae/i Relations team at St. Catherine University invites applications for a full-time Alumni Relations Associate - Graduate College and College for Adults. This new position is responsible for the development and delivery of comprehensive alumni programming for the Graduate College and College for Adults (CFA) in order to create a lifelong culture of engagement and philanthropy. S/he works with individual degree programs to establish opportunities for engagement of adult students and alumni, manages multiple volunteer groups that support the work of Alumnae/i Relations, and implements strategy to create a strong community for the alumni of the College for Adults and Graduate College. S/he will also be responsible for collaboration on programming that reaches the entire alumni community, and a contributing member of the Alumnae/i Relations and Development team, as well as the Institutional Advancement division.
Create and implement a strategy for Graduate College and College for Adults alumni engagement, aligning objectives with overall alumni and school strategies.
Develop relationships with graduate and CFA alumni to promote engagement and develop strong working partnerships with faculty and staff of individual degree programs to establish opportunities for engagement with adult students.
Work with alumni staff on graduate and CFA engagement with St. Kate’s Corporate Chapters and Career Development Center.
Oversee the Volunteer Speaker program, partnering alumni with classrooms, student clubs, or residence halls for speaking opportunities. Supervise the student worker who manages program logistics and work with faculty and student groups to create opportunities and partnerships.
Remain current on best practices in graduate and adult learner alumni engagement.
1-3 years of experience in alumni relations, volunteer management, student affairs, or a related field.
Flexibility to work outside of normal business hours on occasion.
3-5 years of experience in alumni relations, volunteer management, student affairs, or a related field.
A St. Catherine University alumna/us.
Experience with adult students, or someone who has taken a non-traditional educational path and/or attended graduate school.
Experience in building new programs. Strategy around program development and implementation.
