Essential Functions: Research Assistant will carry out quantitative analyses and participate in reciprocal research projects. Interpret and vet research study results, formulate conclusions and inform principal investigator. Develop and/or implement new or modified research methods, procedures, and techniques to meet the unique requirements of assigned research problems. Work to recruit and enroll patients in prospective clinical studies for the ongoing research project Assist in preparation of research study materials for Institutional Review Board review Conduct literature searches relevant to ongoing research projects in the department Prepares appropriate and understandable representations of research data, participate in the preparation of reports and presentation of the research findings and assist the lead investigator in writing manuscripts and publications based on findings and data from research project.
Qualifications: A minimum of a Bachelor degree in a recognized field of science related to this position is required such as biological science.Must have excellent interpersonal skills Self-starter and ability to work independently in a dynamic fast paced environment Able to multi-task and work in a team setting
