Responsible for Kronos payroll and is departmental leave clerk. SHRA & EHRA personnel management. Primary telephone contact for the department. Compiles and disseminates on-call schedules. Prepares animal inventory sheets and maintains training and animal usage databases. Assists Department Chair and faculty with scheduling appointments, meetings, and helps maintain Chair and other faculty calendars. Serves as backup to Accounting Technician. And other duties as assigned by supervisors or department chair.

The Department of Comparative Medicine provides housing and care for vertebrate animals used in research and teaching at the Brody School of Medicine and ECU. This includes provision of appropriate housing, husbandry, and behavioral management, preventive medicine and clinical care, technical and surgical research support, and ensuring compliance with multiple federal regulators and accreditation bodies.
