Ohio University School of Nursing seeks a non-tenure track faculty candidate with an emphasis on teaching traditional on-campus BSN students beginning Fall Semester 2019. This is a full-time 9 month position at the Lecturer rank on the Athens campus. The successful candidate will be required to have an on campus presence throughout the academic year (August – May).
All School of Nursing faculty members are expected to collaboratively and actively engage in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of student instruction and to participate in School of Nursing governance to ensure program standards and outcomes are fully met.
Masters of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree is required.
Active and unencumbered Ohio Registered Nurse (RN) license or eligibility for obtaining an Ohio RN license is required. Must have Ohio RN license prior to start date. Possible need for WV RN license depending on assignment.
Licensed as an RN in the United States for a minimum of two years is required.
A minimum of two years (24 months full time equivalent) of work experience as an RN in the United States is required.
3+ years of clinical RN experience in pediatrics is preferred.
3+ years of teaching pediatric related courses in a nursing program is preferred.
