Creates and executes web designs for UC San Diego Health System B2B network platform and websites and other interactive projects that attract and retain visitors. Solves front-end design and usability challenges, including mobile sites. Develops designs with sitemaps, wireframes, prototypes and full screen comps. Designs and creates websites and other internet-based applications for internal clients on SharePoint. Creates innovative user experiences forcurrent and future sites. Transforms interactive prototypes into front-end code. Collaborates with internal clients to refine the user experience. Presents multiple designs and alternatives while adhering to corporate branding guidelines.
Thoroughly checks the development site to ensure it matches final approved design prior to launch. Manages and maintains web based applications for Pulse.ucsd.edu (Intranet) and ucsdhn.org, for our Physician Network and ACO website owners and editors.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience / training.
Three or more years of relevant experience - Web Development experience (front-end, back-end or full stack development).
Experience and proven success in fundamentals of design and user experience, including skill to design in an appealing, lively and relevant way.
Extensive experience with content management systems, particularly SharePoint.
Experience with development tools, particularly SharePoint Designer, Microsoft SQL Server, Visual Studio and/or Git.
Extensive experience with cross browser capability, search engine optimization and web accessibility.
Must be able to work various hours and locations based on business needs.
