The Executive Steward supports the food service operations of the Fawcett Event Center; oversees the work of student stewards and custodial workers; oversees and ensures the care, maintenance and the highest levels of cleanliness of china, flatware, glassware, pots and pan, and kitchen equipment; serves as a working manager and recruits, hires, trains and supervises stewards and assists with timekeeping and payroll; leads stewards in maintaining composting and sustainability efforts; oversees and assists in the delivery of food and equipment to banquet functions and employee cafeteria; maintains inventories of china, glassware and flatware; assists with deep cleaning projects as well as any other tasks required by the Sous Chef. This position will operate with a flexible schedule and will require some evening and weekend hours.
Associate degree from a culinary or hospitality management program or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Supervisory experience and strong leadership skills.
Target Salary: $11.10 - $16.71 Hourly
